Center for the Advancement of Underserved Children This program provides future pediatric health care professionals with the tools to assess and address social determinants of a child's health while integrating advocacy, scholarly and educational endeavors. Parents as a vital training component assist pediatric health care professionals in understanding the special needs of low-income families in the greater Milwaukee community. This model equips future pediatric health care professionals with the knowledge to move beyond the medical domains for solutions in communities and address problems associated with social determinants of health. |
