Marquette University College of Nursing The goals of this project are to: 1) promote nursing as a career and recruit school age youth from K5-12th grades from disadvantaged and underrepresented ethnic groups and 2) create a minority-friendly learning environment in MUCN which supports and promotes the success of currently enrolled students of diverse backgrounds. Program activities for elementary school students will be expanded, three summer nurse camps will be offered, nurse clubs will be expanded for middle school and high school, and existing mentoring programs at selected high schools will be enhanced. |
