Lisa Brooks graduated from the Milwaukee Area Health Education Center's Community Health Worker training program in 2012. Since then, she has been on the frontline of Community Health Work (CHW) for 10 years. Additionally, Lisa is a CHW mentor, Diabetes and Chronic conditions educator, Wisconsin Public Health Association Member; CHW Section, a member of the CHW Network Advisory Committee, and Walk the Walk Award Recipient for the 2021 State of Wisconsin CHW Network. 

 

When she is not participating within the community, Lisa enjoys spending time with family playing board games and reading.
