Milwaukee AHEC partners with Messmer High School and the UW School of Medicine & Public Health - TRIUMPH Program , to implement Youth Health Service Corps (YHSC).  Milwaukee AHEC started YHSC in 2008 and continues to this day to inspire teens to explore health careers

The TRIUMPH medical students serve as mentors and provide hands- on activities, field trips and service-learning project support to the YHSC members. Many YHSC graduates are now public health professionals and health care providers.
