Community Health Immersions (formerly Wisconsin Express)

• This program gives health professions students a unique opportunity to become immersed in Wisconsin’s diverse communities and cultures, while they explore health care delivery and public health in medically underserved areas, learning with and from students in other disciplines. Virtual and in-person opportunities are available.

Community Health Worker Training

• ​The next CHW Training class will begin on Tues, April 11th, 2023 and run every Tues afternoon from 1:00-3:30 for 15 weeks, ending on July 18th, 2023. 

• The cost of $2500 includes a textbook, personal assistance during the 15-week course, and 6 months of 1-on-1 coaching after training.
