Public Health AmeriCorps member serving at Milwaukee AHEC
Elajah Dixon
Elajah Dixon began her service journey with AmeriCorps in 2023 at the Milwaukee Justice Center, where she supported community members in accessing critical resources. Inspired by the experience, she returned to AmeriCorps to continue serving the Milwaukee community and expand her impact.

Elajah is currently a senior at Marquette University, studying Criminology and Cognitive Science. Alongside her AmeriCorps service, she works as a Crisis Stabilization Worker, helping youth in Milwaukee build emotional regulation and coping skills. Her passion lies in being a voice for the voiceless and advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Beyond her academic and professional commitments, Elajah is actively engaged in her faith community. She is a leader in Faithful Flow, a prayer group on Marquette’s campus that partners with local churches to provide worship support where praise teams are small or absent.
In her free time, Elajah enjoys dancing, writing, and playing The Sims.
