PROVE YOU’VE GOT THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS THAT EMPLOYERS ARE SEEKING IN UP-AND-COMING HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

On January 6th and 7th, 2022, Wisconsin Area Health Education Centers (WI AHEC) hosted its 9th annual statewide Interprofessional Case Competition (IPCC).

 

This event brought together (virtually) interdisciplinary teams of health professions students across multiple professional schools and programs, both private and public, to develop and present a proposed solution to a healthcare challenge.

 

Eight teams were selected out of seventeen, all of which competed for a $3,000 first-place cash prize. The finalist teams were judged by a panel comprising of interprofessional leaders within Wisconsin’s healthcare community and represented all seven of the Wisconsin AHEC regions and the state program office.
